We bought this camcorder for our 17 year old daughter spent two months in Japan this summer. We wanted something small, easily transportable and simple. Upon receipt of the camcorder, we gave him and told him to "play with him" to see if it would work for their trip. Without even opening the manual, it is loaded, set up and begain using the camcorder. She is in love with him and videos with the test see it was damn good. We love the size, cost and portabilityUnit, and she likes the way it works. We know more after their journey, but our first experiences are very positive.
