I bought a Samsung MX20 in December 2008, I had a little over a year. The device was well and was little used. Approximately one week after the warranty period has expired, I was with the camera and turned it. A few minutes later I turned back, and he went straight to a blank screen and would just beep. No buttons worked. It was not dropped or abused forever.
I spoke with Samsung, and since it was past warranty, they put me in touch with a qualified repair service Samsungstore, I wanted to free repair $ 160. Forget it. There are a lot better, more reliable cameras on the market. Learn from my mistakes and do not buy this camera.

I bought this camcorder Samsung scmx20 in April 2009. I barely used until December, but when in January 2010 without a valid reason what so ever, it did not work. It has never been wet fall, but simply stopped working. Battery or power, but just wouldnt turn on the unit (what happened to another customer reviews another article). I called Amazon and they told me, so I called Samsung Mobile Samsung and they told me, phone Amazon. Amazon says warranty with SamsungSamsung says warranty with Amazon. This, even if the unit is still under warranty, or company willing to solve the problem! I asked them both to confirm in writing, so I assume it still, but still not seen a letter by mail. DO NOT BUY this product on Amazon. You have NO WARRANTY. all other retailers will give you full guarantee of 12 months. According to Samsung, Amazon has better prices from Samsung, by their own will in the houseWarranty on Samsung products, but when, at worst, they do not respect their commitment and want to return the ball back from Samsung. I now have a camcorder unusable, which I purchased new. DO NOT BUY Samsung, if you know THE TRIAL OF WARRANTY. Do not buy products from Amazon, unless you compensate for the lack of security. Shame on Amazon.

I bought the Samsung SC MX20 in new condition from Thanksgiving through time after 2009 and although it was $ 50 discount on the price, I found not good enough for the money spent 150 $ + tax. Finally, I have returned. The SCMX20 can record about 119 minutes on the creation of the resolution and I chose a fine (2nd best) quality on a 4GB SDHC card from SanDisk. It is light with a battery, not too heavy to hang on my neck when not in use. Generally very easy to use and to minimizeClatter when I registered as the automatic setting of white balance, focus, … It has a 34x optical zoom good enough compared to the High Def version that usually do 10x optical. Everything seems fine until I screen the video in high definition, as most computer screens play w / 1024×768 or try again later. The quality of the image blocks can be when you think … image quality from a distance (zoom) is not acceptable. Furthermore, would the use of a tripod is mandatory in the videoShooting, when you use the zoom a lot … Overall, if you go to the video first ride of a baby, the object can be something very close. I bought this unit on sale on Black Friday, I hope you have a camcorder that is easy to use, and also give rise to different lighting conditions. (A problem I have with my digital camera in a way) It fits comfortably in the hand and is fairly easy to use. After the test, I quickly realized that the picture quality is absolutely terrible, even at the highest level of quality. It is not so much emphasis or focus, it is the interlacing. It is completely in your recordings. When I purchasedIt was clear to me that this is not the best picture because it was designed to YouTube casual user. But I was surprised that another well thought out and well designed unit suitable interleaving had such a difficult question.
On a side note, I have a Mac, which could contribute to the problem of how not to design software for Windows and Mac. (I could not install it on my computer) to transfer the video is possible, however, andeditable in iMovie 08th I am disappointed that this company is not leading Mac users into account. Especially since Macs continue to gain popularity. I do not want to keep this camera as my Canon digital camera classic, the PowerShot SX10 IS (the video is the secondary function, I might add) that lasts more than camcorders. I would not recommend this for Mac users, and I'd be careful if you plan to use it for something other than YouTube. (This movie at home) Buy your ownRisks.
