My First CamCorder purchase – James – Joplin, MO United States
This was my first purchase of a real camcorder. I have experience with other units because of my use of computer technology. My main reason for buying this camera was the price. He had all the features I needed. It has Firewire (IEEE 1394) to download the video on your PC, and it still downloading or recording USB to a PC. The quality is very nice. We took her on holiday in the Gulf of Mexico and were the size and weight of practice, very happy. I doubtrecommend purchasing this unit to anyone. (By the way, when our order, we received a discount of $ 100 Sharp because it was purchased on Amazon.com, but I do not currently available).

I love this little device. And after all the seaching drivers for Mac OSX, I followed the advice of a previous review, bought the appropriate FireWire cable, and iMovie recognized it immediately.
The picture and sound quality is exceptional for the price and it is small enough to carry and throw in a wallet anywhere.

I price of other DV cameras before buying this. This camera was $ 100 – $ 300 less than most cameras I've seen. It has no bells and whistles that other cameras, but then it does! The feature I love most is on my camera that I as a unity between the analog video from my TV and / or VCR to my computer and it turns into a digital copy for use in process. I was ready to spend much for a device that is capable of doing what I can nowSharp with my camera and all I had to do, FireWire has been installed on my computer.
