Needed repair; bad experience – T. FINN – Baltimore
After nine months, the buttons on the camera has stopped working. Sanyo contacted and was referred to their service provider, Skokie TV.
Skokie contacted and sent my camera for the beginning of September. Not hearing anything after two weeks, I contacted Skokie and learned who had a misdiagnosis of "control" should be appointed by Sanyo.
After another two weeks and no news, I contacted Skokie again and was informed that the unit is defective and the replacement arrivedhas been ordered by Sanyo.
After two weeks, I contacted Skokie again and was informed they were waiting for the game.
Communication Service and Skokie are unacceptable. I waited 6 weeks now and still do not know when I have a backup camera. My baby of 16 months is to walk, talk, learn … and we miss the moments we capture Sanyo was intended.
Although we love the camera, the buyers would be in relation to compliancecontrol unit defective and after-sales experience with Skokie.

After the owner of the HD2 for 6 months, I sold it on eBay.
It is a device Tweener – trying to be both a video camera and a digital camera. I still have the best of both, but in reality, the HD2 is not great either. Quality video and photo has been fair – despite the 7.1 MP resolution, image quality was not as good as I was out of the arrival of 2MP Canon SD200 is that it replaces. Of course, I had more points, but subjectively (for most – it not as good as your oldCamera … "From the family) looks like the colors are not so good, and it was pretty high noise level. Even the" Image Stabilizer "used cropping, so you can see on the wide end (the lose 39mm equiv. More than a 50mm), which it difficult to use indoors.
But what I was finally offered for sale, the fewer photos I took. I did not like so I do not wear it as often and when I did not that many pictures. Some wasquality, but more the camera style pistol grip does simply not for me – I much prefer to the standard gearbox.
It was not bad at all, it has a 10x optical zoom along in a small body and very high compression (with quality) on the videos.
After the sale, I went back to a digital camera, I bought a Canon PowerShot SD870IS 8MP digital camera. I'm much happier with that, it's a great camera, what happened to make a good SD video, my picture (and video)Numbers have gone up.

A good camcorder for outdoor use.
However, the full charge takes only 22 minutes of continuous recording. You better get at least two backup batteries.
Bad compromise – –
I expected the video to so-so, and images are excellent. Both were miserable.
