I bought this camcorder to a college course this site factory sealed, to third. It does not work. I do not know if the seller does not know this product with the intention of making money quickly won work. After failing my class for the first 2 weeks, because the device is defective. I had to go for a more reliable brand name. There is a reason Samsung no longer makes this point. My camera was purchased in 2003 and was out of warranty when I got it. I feelby the seller, who was well aware of the tip was defective or has a very low price for resale. Who knows if I want my money. Lesson learned, if not sold at Best Buy is not really buy the best, and too good to be true.

I bought this camera a few years ago. It worked well for a year or two, then work stopped. This would only audio and I could not with the viewfinder or LCD. As it was a cheap camera, I decided it was a goner. I returned them in the basement. Three years later I was cleaning the basement and I found it. Dead yet. I did some research and found that the class action, which this camera.

Give Samsung a call and they will either repairYour existing unit, or send an SC-D382 refurbished at no cost.

Although Samsung LCD manufactures exceptional products, their camcorder line bottom. This is my 2nd Samsung Camcorder, and it is also the 2nd time I was torn. My last (I forget the model) and it is no longer capturing video on one or two months after the warranty has expired. Since neither Samsung or Best Buy (where I bought it) to deal with this very negative experience for customers (and, apparently, seem to think that 1 year of use over par for the course) Ihave decided to stop buying their products) (including its wonderful. Companies that do not deserve to still live with their clients to stay in business. I hope to one day go to Best Buy and Samsung in bankruptcy. Canon and buy online. You'll be happy and save you money.
