Very very disappointing product – S. Robinson – Liverpool England
I bought this camcorder about 18 months and it has always been less than my old Canon camcorder (unfortunately not digital – change) The display is wrong and totally useless in the darkness and twilight. Ideal for sunny days, but otherwise terrible. I come back after 6 months in a drawer the vacation time (still left!) And the LCD does not work. Even if you look through the site veiwfinder, there is no display. As the cameras are so low, itwill be better than replacing the repair. Although I Samsung products in the past, I never buy more loved as a camcorder. They are really inferior and offer nothing but disappointment. Buy something else … We have been forewarned!

camcorder at Best Buy bought a year ago. I am based on the purchase of a longstanding belief in Samsung products. The picture quality was terrible. There is no light, it is very difficult to keep focus when you're outside in daylight. The sound quality is very good. But after a year of very light use, finished LCD display. I will never buy another Samsung camera. I called Samsung fee $ 160.00 to fix it. The brand new is $ 200.00. It happens to many people. BADADB.

I bought the SC-D353 in the 2006 budget with eye because the graduates as my wife and I have a lot of debt and not much in the way of spending money. This camcorder was essentially the cheapest option when I get the video, an external microphone input found.
For the price, the unit offers things I want. I'm looking acceptable, not superb definition video, and it does deliver reasonable video quality, if there is enough light. It is striking, if shortDealing with low light, or when a single subject is lit, but the rest of the image is dark. The autofocus lens system and are not well integrated, if you zoom more than about 2/3rds of the way to the end of the long telephoto lens, autofocus hunting for several seconds before focusing again. I think the goal is to design an optical zoom, but a goal hyperfocal. A zoom lens retains the same through the bandwidth, but a change lens hyperfocal focus change focal length. Inat least, explain why the AF if a fast zoom would be hunting occurs.
About the audio … The microphone is very sensitive, however, and there is a big noise but when the camcorder using the tape drive is just excessive and unusable the internal microphone.
