My camera broke after 4 months! – M. Ou – NY
No help from Sanyo, either because I have a "pioneer" (I ordered one from Hong Kong was $ 600). But it is not surprising. What surprised me a unit cost only about four months, is now even more money to repair the defective unit.

As others have pointed out, the Sanyo VPC-HD2000 (VPC-FH1 and) losing about 10 seconds of video every 22 minutes (or almost), if the file size limit of 4 GB hits the FAT file system . At this point, the camera will open a new file and loses about 10 seconds of video in the process.
Other camcorder (Canon, Sony, etc.) seem not to show this. One way manufacturers work together to solve the problem is the video input buffer when switching, so that no frames are lost. I guessthat, given the price, Sanyo here, around the cut edges.
I like the device of my camcorder on a tripod and let it simply be performed during the duration of the event. When I filmed a concert, for example, I do not want my 10 seconds at random parts. For me, it's a deal breaker.

Please note that this is not the U.S. model-compatible. I'm not rating the performance of the camcorder. In fact, I think for the money spent, it is a model of good and true HD, but because it is the EU model-based, you will not be able to playback on all standard definition or high-definition models fully in the United States to do. I have not bought the model for the supplier above, but I had (only) returned the same model purchased EUB and Europe has several clips in all definitions (full range of SD to HD 1080p) andwent to BestBuy to the game and has not been able to do so. Yes, you can do to manipulate and enjoy playing videos (including 1080p) on your computer (the more power the better of the play), but if you want HDTV playback at your convenience, in Until the U.S. model. JVC Everio Gz-MG630RU Gives You Poor Quality Video – Carl Franciose – Flanders, NJ USA
I barrowed this device to help a friend at a party record, and created a DVD of the event for them. To my surprise, the quality of video on a standard VHS tape. I thought the camera was HD at first, but later discovered was not. The logo on the hard disk of the camera is misleading. I have a Canon VIXIA HG20 and the difference between them is night and day. When I was in my lowest quality with the Canon HD20 folder, it is always better than the ultra fine mode, this JVC. The cameracomes with a small light, which is worth absolutely nothing if you're in a completely dark room. Moreover, the device makes light does not act as a flash, if you take if you have any pictures to make you better, you're in a well lit room. I guess you get what you pay, I am glade I have my Canon HD20. So if you are looking for good quality digital video, you do not do that to get with this unit.

I still check a few stores in the city and for afeel for what I wanted in a video camera. I was very happy with the experience of the Amazon, the price was $ 100.00 cheaper than elsewhere, and I found the ease of purchase and send the product was great.
